what will be the treatment of brokerage charges paid on the purchase and sale of securities.

The provisions in respect of the brokerage charges paid on the purchase and sale of securities, TDS is not required to be deducted refer Explanation (i) of Section 194H

Brokerage should be added to purchase and deduted from sale of shares. No TDS required to be deducted as per section 194H
