Is there any basic rule for breakup of gross salary paid by the company by H.R.A, Conveyance,Food Allowances or other allowances?

generally it is bifurcated on the basis of allowance exemptted .

Can you give a example on it? As it is a IT company so the gross salary are very high,I can take the right decesion for the breakup.
