What accounting entry is to be passed in case of receipt of bonus shares or there would be no accounting entry and only the number of shares would increase?

No need of passing entry for bonus shares received.
Just add no.of shares recd in investment register.

No need for accounting entries as there was no payment to be made. Just add the number of shares.
