Hi Sangeeta,
If bonus shares are alloted before 1st Apr'81: The cost if acquisition shall be the FMV as that date
If bonus shares are alloted after 1st Apr'81: Cost of acqusition is Nil

No cost of acquisition the entire amount sold will be coming under Capital Gain Net.

IF the shares are acuired before 1-4-81....take the FMV AS ON 1-4-81
and if it is after 1-4-81....COA will be nil
and if it is after 1-4-81....COA will be nil
