Hi anybody can clear my confusion regarding BIN and IEC, because I have come to know that BIN is issued by DGFT and it is PAN based whereas IEC also issued by DGFT and a ten digit code. What is the difference. For an exporter which registration is required. Thanks and regards in advance.

at the time of filing the filing on dgft website we must submit the original bank certificate of export and realisation (appendix-22A) in future DGFT wish to not submit BRC in orinal through the click on the option "BIN"
when this applicable "bin"
To facilitate trade and to avoid separate registration of importers and exporters at various custom houses under the Indian Customs EDI system, Customs & DGFT have established connectivity. To track the status of IE code registration, please click the following IE code registrations from the various offices of DGFT to various automatic customs location .
also read about BIN: A bank card number is the primary account number found on credit cards and bank cards. It has a certain amount of internal structure and shares a common numbering scheme. Credit card numbers are a special case of ISO/IEC 7812 bank card numbers.
An ISO/IEC 7812 number is typically 16 digits in length.[1] It consists of:
* a six-digit Issuer Identification Number (IIN), the first digit of which is the Major Industry Identifier (MII), * a variable length (up to 12 digits) individual account identifier, * a single check digit calculated using the Luhn algorithm.[2]
