i want do know what does licence details in bill of entry mean. and how the amount is arrived at in the licence details.

actually our goverrnment take the relief to the exporter - importer of india.
SFIS, ADVANCE LICENCE, EPCG LICENCE , DEPB LICENCE VKGUY LICENCE , FMS, AND FPS LICENCE ISSUED TO THE EXPORTER - IMPORTER AND IF THEY IMPORT VARIOUS TYPE OF DUTY WAIVE .
IN BILL OF ENTRY , IF THEY AVAIL THE BENEFIT OF EXEPMTION OF DUTY THE CHA MENTIONED LICENECE NO. WITH DATE(DGFT ISSUE) AND IF THE IMPORTER NOT WANTED TO ISSUANCE THEY DEPOSIT THE PEAK DUTY AT THE TIME OF IMORT THE ITEMS.
THAT IS WHY CHA MENTIONED LICENCE NO. WITH DATE ON BILL OF ENTRY.
VALIDITY OF LICENCE IS 24 MONTH.
