Which book is better for direct tax for CWA

I feel Vinod K Singhania and TN Manoharan is good to study. When i am at my studies, i studied both these books.
As far as Singhania is concerned, there is one example for every proviso illustrated. Where as Manoharan is concerned, theretical part is really good in that.
Any doubts let me know.
