benefits to EOUs

Respected all,
pls let me know the current benefits to export oriented units i.e. EOUs from all point of view i.e. direct & indirect tax both, subsidies & others.
pls also let me know that whether to work as an eou unit is it necessary to have plant location in any of SEZ, FTZ etc. or we can work as an EOU from anywhere in India.
i need advise on urgent basis.
