Is it Compulsary to Digitally Sign ITR while filing a belated return on which section 44 AB is not applicable ?

If you don't have digital signature, you can file the Belated return online. But you have to submit signed hard copy ITR-V to Banglore within 120 days of online submission of Belated Return.

If the assessee, other than a company, is not liable to get his accounts audited, he is NOT required to sign the return digitally.
This is applicable for original, revised and belated return.
