I knew that excise is applicable on manufacturing concerns, but is it possible to avoid excise on small concerns or can small manuf. concerns be saved from the levy of excise?If Yes,then what are the conditions?

If Turnover does not exceed Rs. 4 crores in the PY den no Excise Duty in the current year till 1.5 crores
