22 August 2013 do banks charge interest on loan customer wise or is it uniform for everybody for one type of loan ? eg:- if Mr.A and Mr.B, both of them want a home loan.. will the interest RATE for both of them be same or will it differ according to their individual credit worthiness and security offered?

So do the banks have a uniform interest rate for one type of loan(eg:home loan) for everybody or does the rate differ from person to person for the same type of loan

22 August 2013 it depends on the credit rating and profile of customer

bank has base rate and they charge premium on the basis of credit history, profile of customer
