07 January 2010 Liquidity Adjustment Facility or LAF as it is called is an adjustment mechanism for liquidity in the market either to suck the liquidity or raise the liquidity the entire concept and mechanism is mentioned in the RBI circular Ref. IDMC No 3968 /03.75.00/ 99-2000
