i want of know the importance of bank voucher of accounting entry like cash deposited by party in our bank a/c/. Then why we need the voucher from accounting software.

voucher is need a part of books of accounts and need to be retained.

i explain:- if i get payment from a party in a bank and i pass a journal entry in tally:-
Bank a/c Dr.
To Party A/c
than auditors wants this entry print out from tally.
I want to know the importance of this voucher print out.
