i have BOM a/c .Payment of expenses such as tel.,electricity,LIP is done through ecs.
Now i want to close BOM a/c.
same is wanted to pay through other bank a/c which is already opened.
what is the procedure to transfer ecs payment through other bank a/c and to close BOM a/c?

visit your payee, such as electricity/tel/LIC and ask for ecs mandate, fill the same and submit to your new banker, new banker will authorize them for payment.
you have to write elec/tel/lic to close your old banker
after this you can close your old account.
