Kindly tell us why banks are providing physical BRC if there have been introduced e BRC ?

And what is consequences if we are not providing BRC to custom department?

ANY FINE OR PENALTY WILL BE LEVIED ON US IF WE ARE NOT PROVIDING BRC?

IT CAN BE POSSIBLE THAT YOUR SHIPPING BILL BEFORE 17.08.2012

must READ:
DGFT Public Notice No. 08 dated 6.7.2012 that dispensed with theIssuance of physical copy of BRCs by banks for the purpose of DGFT use and made e-BRC mandatory w.e.f. 17.8.2012.

IF OCCURS BEFORE 17.08.2012 SUBMIT IN CONCERNED DEPARTMENT otherwise ask your banker for uploading the e-BRC in dgft website.
