if i received cheque from customer on 18th August and deposit to cheque in bank on 19th August now we should make entry of cheque received on which date.

when you deposit the cheque in your bank when you make entry of cheque.
or you earlier take as cheque in hand and then you depsit the cheque then debit the bank a/c
