Bank ac/ without pan...

18 December 2012 i am a ipcc student...
i am having my a/c in icici bank...
while opening the a/c i had not provided pan....

so, i want to ask you that is it necessry to give pan details or otherwise what will happen?

19 December 2012 As per KYC norms, it is mandatory for all banks to obtain PAN or Form 60/61 while opening bank accounts.

You have to submit either PAN or Form No.60/61 declaration otherwise bank will not allow any withdrawals or transactions by freezing your account.
