07 January 2012 Dear All,

My self Sachin, i passed bcom in year 2008, and not done any post graduation course after that due to some financial problems. my academic results are 80% in SSC, 73.67% in HSC & 75.29% in TYBCOM.

Now, i m thinking of joining CA course. my age is 26 at present. Can i do this course???

07 January 2012 First u have to leave ur job for sake of article-ship. u can do CA.
but i suggest , as u have so much of experience focus on job and do some SAP course etc.

08 January 2012 Passed BCOM in 2008 then how you have 7 years work experience with BCOM?

08 January 2012 You can instead do icwa.

09 January 2012 You can do CA courses. You need to join articleship for 3 years once you will reach in CA final.

09 January 2012 Thanks to all, Ravi sir, i m working since fybcom, and i done my bcom through distance learning, mumbai university.

09 January 2012 If you think you want to join CA, join the course at the earliest. You have seven years experience in the field of accountancy, it will help you a lot in studying ca course. the only thing you need to worry is you have to quit from your job atleast during your articleship period. But there are a lot of firms which pays a very decent stipend to the articles. You can join one of these firms and your monthly income will not get affected to a great extent. Best of luck.
