Dear All Experts,
Since we are setting up a new mfg plant, and we have procured diesel generator set in the last year for this plant. My query is can we eligible to avail cenvat credit of generator set, if yes pl give us noti. no. if any.

purchase prior to the date of regn is not eligible,
if purchased after regn then you are eligible under capital goods, provided the same is installed within the factory(within factory plan submitted to excise department)
