26 March 2009 can anyone tell me how to prepare for auditing, basically i am maths student. what is the procedure to understand and remember.

what type of questions will i get from it.

there is no coachign also for that everybody is telling that it is theory and very easy. is this correct?

27 March 2009 just try to understand the theme of the topics,
need not to mug up the book.
To remember audit discuss with ur friend , or read practical based problems and previous year paper.

normally you get concept based and basic auditing question.
company law is must for company auditing.

Auditing is a very practical subject try to co relate it with practical problem,
it is a bit strange but i used to talk my self while reading theory subject.
just read a question and think what it this about in your language.
use rough diagrams and notes in your own language to remember number and data
