29 March 2012 Companies had an option of publishing unaudited results first and then go for Audited accounts. With SEBI amending the 41 Listing it is mandatory to publish Audited results within 60 days. With a drastic change in the Schedule VI compliance is it possible to meet the deadline for the transition year ending 31.03.2012.Auditors will go mad.

02 April 2012 Yes. Ur right. It seems that some of the big listed companies having huge subsidiaries in number are approaching SEBI for extension of timelines for submission of audited accounts in revised schedul VI.
Hope SEBI will respond positively else Auditors have to be prepared for it...
