what is d diff between statuary audit report and tax audit report .when these reports are filed for the year 2012-2013. and to which statuary body these report are filed.

Statutory audit is applicable to companies registered under companies act,1956. Statutory audit is mandatory for every company irrespective of turnover. Tax audit is required under income tax act. Tax audit is applicable to those whose turnover is 1cr or more for FY 12-13.
