Audit of co operative housing societies

I am a practicing CA in Thane, Maharashtra. I started full time practice in this April. I need to know if I am eligible to accept statutory audit of co operative housing society. I have heard that one needs to complete some certificate course/ seminar on audits of co operative societies to be eligible for accepting the audit of any co-op society. Is it correct? If yes, then when are these seminars scheduled?

i dont that certificate of such kind of seminars is necessary for getting audit of them....

There is No such requirement in accepting Audit of Cooperative society.
