audit wing of excise had issued a notice to me that they will visit my industry. what are the document are to be produced for auditing. what are the powers does the audit wing have. guide me please.

As per EA 2000, the audit wing people will ask for
A) financial statements for the previous five years
B)Excise and service tax returns
C) Input utilisation documents
Excise records like RG-23 A,B,C and part II of RG-23

Additionally copy of previous excise audit reports,your internal audit reports; if necessary they may also ask for copy of stock statement submitted to your bank
