24 February 2017 The requirement of obtaining signature from the Principal applies if only the candidate is still undergoing articleship training. If you have completed your articles, then you can obtain it either from a practicing or non-practicing CA.

If your photo and signature appears on the exam portal, then the PDF copy generated need be signed and sent to Institute. Thus, signature is required only on Certificate of Service form.

02 March 2017 Seal is not required to be stamped by a Non-practicing CA. Only Practicing CA is required to stamp the seal.
