Attempt single group or postpone attempt?? please advice me

I am eligible for may16 attempt.. I tried to attempt both groups but due to health problems n less leave i can attempt only one group. I want to attempt group2. but my principal is advicing me to skip the attempt and write both groups in nov16, with much more preparation..
He z saying candidates who qualify both groups at a time in ca final have more chances for getting jobs.. Is that true?? If i qualify one group in may and other in nov i will complete my ca in 2 attempts.
but he z saying that if i dont fill exam form, my attempt wont be counted, so if i qualify in nov it will be regarded as first attempt..i m totally confused.
Even if i dont fill exam form my ca will be completed 6mon later than my eligible attempt..that can be observed from my resume itself.. Filing exam form etc are bothered by interviewers??

if u dont fill exam form attempt will not be counted.but let me tell you many CA's are there who qualified their CA groupwise and in good position.yes, few companies prefer only first attempt students.
But qualifying groupwise also not tad below.
i recommend you not to loose your attempt, if you can give only one group write one group and qualify.Dont bother about job, Many oppurtunities available for ca qualifieds whether passed in single group or bothgroups at a time

Sir, if i dont file exam form and take a gap of 1year, still that will be regarded as my first attempt??
And one candidate qualify group by group in 2 attempts and other fails both groups in one attempt and qualify both groups at a time in 2nd attempt..is there difference between these two candidates?? Who will be preferred in interviews

1)if such gap happens you can give explanation to interviewer ,why 1 year gap is there and he may also ask what u doing in this one year.
2)attempt wise it is considered as two attempts in both cases.
let me tell you all these not at all a concern in interviews,..your package depends on how u performed in interview, my senior qualified in 4th attempt got 7.5 lakh package in a famous MNC company.
