05 September 2013 If one has cleared IPCC in November 2011 then Can he/she appear for Final CA in May 2014 ?

05 September 2013 CA Final attempt eligibility shall be depending on the Commencement of articleship training period.

Those who completed or under going their last six months of articleship training period including excess leaves if any as on the first day of the Exams commencing month are eligible to write CA Final exams for such attempt.

So as on 1-5-2014 if you completed your articleship training or under going last six months of articleship training period including excess leaves then you are eligible for May 2014 other wise not.

So based on above provision please calculate your examination eligibility attempt otherwise please post your Date of commencement of articleship training and the leaves during the articleship training period.

05 September 2013 I have started articleship on 09/03/2012 and took 61 days leave, so can I give May 2014 Final CA attempt?

05 September 2013 No, you didn't eligible for May 2014 attempt, because of as on 1-5-2014 you completed only 2 Years and 2 months(approx) of articleship training period i.e under going last 10 months of articleship period as on 1-5-2014. So you are eligible for November 2014 CA final attempt provided you didn't have more than 138 days leaves as on 1-11-2014.
