Attempt CA final exam after 6 year

I had give up CA final in 2018. Now I want to complete my CA final. So what rule will be applicable for me if I want appear for 1 group.

12 August 2025 1. Validity of Registration:
As per ICAI rules, your registration for CA Final exam is valid for 5 years from the date of registration.

Since you registered before or in 2018, your original registration might have expired.

2. Revalidation of Registration:
You need to revalidate your registration for CA Final exams.

This means you have to apply to ICAI for revalidation to be eligible to appear.

ICAI allows revalidation usually up to 3 years after registration expiry with payment of revalidation fees.

3. Syllabus & Study Material:
You’ll have to appear as per the current syllabus applicable at the time of your exam.

ICAI may require you to study updated modules and subjects as syllabus might have changed since 2018.

You need to ensure you have the latest study materials and updates.

4. Training & Other Requirements:
If you have completed Articleship and other practical training requirements, you should be fine.

If not, you may need to complete them or ensure that any changes in training requirements are complied with.

5. Practical Tips:
Contact ICAI regional office or check the ICAI website for the exact revalidation procedure and fees.

Prepare with updated course material and consider joining a coaching class for the current syllabus.
