Atc certificate after 3 year training?

18 November 2014 I have registered for IPCC WITHOUT ATC.
I have cleared my IPCC G-I in Nov 2011 & Registered for 3 Years Articles in Feb 2012 & Cleared my IPCC G-II in May 2012.
I have registrered for Final in Sep 2012.
Still there are 3 more months to complete my articles.

If I Wish to get ATC Certificate after completing my 3 yr articleship, whether i have to undergo additional 1yr training or i can simply register & apply to get ATC Certificate.

If any persons got ATC Certficate similiar to my situations please guide me.

15 July 2024 In your situation, since you have completed three years of articleship and are nearing the completion of your Final exams, you can apply for the ATC (Articled Training Completion) certificate after completing the three-year period. Here’s what you need to consider:

1. **Completion of Articleship**: You mentioned that you registered for articleship in February 2012 and will complete three years in February 2015. Once you complete this three-year period, you are eligible to apply for the ATC certificate.

2. **Application Process**:
- Fill out the ATC application form available on the ICAI website or from your principal.
- Submit the completed form along with necessary documents to your principal for verification.
- Your principal will verify your completion of articleship and then submit the application to ICAI on your behalf.

3. **Additional Training Requirement**: As per the current rules, once you complete three years of articleship, you do not need to undergo any additional training to obtain the ATC certificate. The three years of articleship itself fulfill the training requirement for ATC.

4. **Timing of Application**: You can apply for the ATC certificate after completing the entire three-year period of articleship. There is no requirement to wait until you pass your Final exams.
