09 August 2012 i have cleared my cpt and now i want to go for ATC. can u tell me about this course and important dates related to it???

10 August 2012 Following are the steps after passing CPT:

1.Enrol for ATC.
2.Successfully complete 9 months of study course from the date of ATC registration.
3.Successfully complete Orientation Course of one week spanning 35 hours and covering
topics, such as personality development, communication skills, office procedure, business
environment, general commercial knowledge, etc.
4.Successfully complete 100 hours Information Technology Training (ITT).
5.Appear and pass Accounting Technician Examination (ATE) (i.e. Group I of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE)) comprising of four papers.
6.Successfully complete one year work experience under a chartered accountant in practice or in industry.
7.Get Accounting Technician Certificate.
8.Designate as “Accounting Technician”.

10 August 2012 After becoming Accounting Technician, if you want to become a CA, the doors are still open.
