11 April 2010 Is a semi-qualified CS i.e. pass in CS Executive Programme (Intermediate)considered for appointment as Assistant Company Secretary? Is there any statutory provision in the Company Secretaries Act/Companies Act for such appointment of semi-qualified CS?

11 April 2010 Thanks for your reply. Do you mean that pass in CS (Exec.Programme)/Intermediate is not an eligible qualification for appointment to the post of Assistant Company Secretary? Please clarify.

11 April 2010 Agree with expert. The designation asst. CS cannot be given. The appointment may be made as an Executive in the Secretarial Dept.
