19 July 2018 how to file an income tax return of an assessee who died. and what are other formalities for income tax purpose.

20 July 2018 Any income earned by the deceased person till the date he was alive is required to file Income tax return. Any authorised representative or nominee of the deceased can file his return by adding representative assessee in the deceased person income tax login. It will ask for supporting documents. You can give legal hier certificate or death certificate. After getting successfully added the representative login will get two options. One for self income tax return filing and other for filing decease person Income tax return. Hope this will help you
