In case you have to claim the Legal heir Certificate,one has to prefer an application to the Civil Court for the same.This is also known as the succession certificate,which is usually demanded in case of claiming Financial benefits of a decesed person who has died intestate.This application is made through an advocate,whrein the important documents required are the death certificate of the deceased,and the details of the property claimed,and the list of names of all the legal heirs.Thereafter the Court issues a citation to confirm and call for any objections.thereafter the crtificate is issued

Pls submit the following (applicables) to the Village Officer / Tahsildar Office and get their directions:
Application in prescribed format with Rs 5 court fee stamp. (normally available with Stamp Vendors or concerned. Earlier it was in Village Offices.) Death Certificate Electoral ID card/Photo ID card Report from parents district Ration Card Affidavits/Relationship Certificate Man-missing certificate from RDO (issued only in case person is missing for more than 7 years)
BESIDES, SUBJECT TO THE PURPOSE , THE CONCERNED OFFICE WOULD GIVE DIRECTIONS such as LIC Policy, Shares, Land Rights, bank deposits, Post Office Deposits, etc.,
