07 March 2008 I have a query abt articleship.

One of my frnd is doing dummy articleship and working as a paid assistant in another CA firm. Now he want 2 leave that firm but the CA there wont allow him to leave as he threats if u leave from here I will make a complaint to d institute dat u r on dummy. Cud anybody tell me can he do anything against him and wat is d proceadure to make a complaint against an article, as he don have his registration no. What he knows abt him is only his name and location where does he resides.

10 March 2008 As C.A. is threatening to complaint to institute about dummy articleship, the C.A. will also be penaltised for such work and I am sure he will not do that but if he do so then article can show proof of stipend given as he is working as paid assistant. He can also show proof of daily work sheet maintained by him. Thus he can complaint to Institute. One more option is not to do any extra work or not do anything proper eventhough he know but it is dangerous to his prestige so according to me he should go for the first option.
