Articleship transfer on medical grounds

24 October 2017 I have finished 1.5 years of articleship. Now i have a problem which has to be operated and i need to be in bed for minimum 3 months. I am well aware of the delay in my final attempt. Can i get transfer in my city itself??

26 October 2017 Yes for sure. First write a letter to ICAI seeking transfer on grounds of Medical issue on a plain paper with your signature and your Principle signature and stamp. If ICAI satisfies then they will give permission then you can download FORM 109 and get it signed by YOUR PRINCIPLE later you can join in same city

26 October 2017 And Sir icai wants medical certificate from govt. hospital. But i am not taking treatment in a government hospital. Is it ok to produce MC from a non.government doctor

26 October 2017 Better to take MC from Govt Hospital superintendent only to avoid rejection of Form by ICAI.
Visit nearest GOVT hospital explain your problem & request them, definitely they will help you.
