Articleship transfer in second year

I wanted to ask you that i stay in Mumbai i have completed 1 year and nine month of Articleship. Now my family is shifting in Rajasthan.
Can this be a valid ground for transfer of articleship.Do i need to give any proof to ICAI regarding my Shifting.If yes then what proof do i need to give it to ICAI
What all procedure i need to follow for transfer of articleship.
PLEASE HELP ME...

18 July 2013 Yes,as ur in 2d year of articleship u can take transfer on the reason u mentioned.

first u need to write letter to icai seeking permission for transfer on above grounds,when icai allows u fill form 109.

doc like ration card of ur name n address of rajasthan,electric bill of house, rent reciepts etc will be sufficient to submit to icai.

18 July 2013 1)Generally icai prescribed list of permisable grounds under which transfer is allowed in second year of articleship..

2)your reason is not found in the aforesaid reasons.however icai will permit you to take transfer if icai feels it is necessary to permit you for transfer..

All you need to do is..

1)You need to request icai to permit for your transfer..Please note icai prior approval is mandatory

2)The request of an articled assistant on a plain paper with recommendations of the Principal for transfer / termination of articleship accompanied by evidence/proof (self-attested by the articled assistant) to the satisfaction of the Institute be made.

3)acceptance of principal for your transfer disclosing reason for transfer..

4)Proofs can be any document which confirms that you are shifting to other city..
