Articleship termination query.

13 November 2017 Iam second yr article & i wanted small guidance regards termination of articleship. I have completed 1yr 3months of articleship and want to terminate articles on medical grounds so if today i write letter to institute for the same accompanying medical certificate from govt hospital....in this case whether i have to state that i was in discontinuation of articles for last 3months or going to discontinue for next coming 3 months. Pls guide, really urgent.

14 November 2017 Dear Ms.Jyothi, As you have completed your Articleship period beyond 1 year, Termination is permissible after prior approval of the Institute. So, first make an application on your Firms header with you and yours principal signature along with Medical Certificate. If ICAI is satisfied then in return it will send Permission letter to you. Then Submit Form 109 along with Permission letter.

14 November 2017 But sir what i have to state in letter as iam already on sick leave. whether i should state that i want min 3 months termination on as iam not well or state that i have been sick for last 3 months and want termination.
