25 May 2011 MY ARTICLE SHIP WAS TERMINATED ON 22 JUNE 2010. BUT I SERVE MY PRINCIPAL TILL JULY END. THERE AFTER I SEND FORM 108 BY MENTIONING COMPLETION DATE AS 31 JULY. LATER I RECV A LETTER FROM INSTITUTE THAT I HAD NOT QUOTED THE RIGHT COMPLETION DATE I.E 22 JUNE,10. SO I WAS INSTRUCTED TO SEND FORM 108 AGAIN. THEREFORE I SEND THE FORM WITH CORRECT DATE. AFTER FEW DAYS I RECV ANOTHER NOTICE THAT I HAD TAKEN EXCESS LEAVE ON 22 JUNE FOR 30 DAY..SO I NEED TO SEND FORM 107 (EXTENSION). I SEND THE SAME, MENTIONING COMPLETED THE EXTENDED PERIOD FROM 1ST JULY TO 31 JULY. ANOTHER NOTICE RECV THAT ,AS I HAD JOIND THE ARTICLESHIP FRO 1ST JULY....SO THERE IS AN GAP BETWEEN 22 JUNE AND 1ST JULY...SO FORM 107 IS NOT VALID AND ASKED TO SEND FORM 103. MEAN TIME MY EXAMS APPROACHED. SO I HALTED FILLING ANY FORM. NOW EXAMS ARE OVER AND I WANT TO FILE FORM 103. MY QUESTION: WHETHER INSTITUTE CAN HAVE ANY OBJECTION FOR SUCH LATE FILING OF 103. MY PRINCIPAL USE TO PAY ME STIPEND BY CASH. SO IF EVER INSTITUTE INQUIRE ABOUT MY STIPEND DETAILS ...I WILL HAVE NO SOURCE TO GIVE SUCH DETAILS. THEREFORE I AM AFRAID TO ANY SUCH INSTITUTE ACTION. WHAT REPLY SHOULD I GIVE TO INSTITUTE.

25 May 2011 First of all, you should take care while filing form 108 and you should have checked about the excess leave taken during the articleship. If the application is pending for the completion, the mistake is initiated at your side. Now forget about the mistake, and you can do the following to ensure that the articleship is complete in all respects.

1. Even if the stipend was paid in cash, there is no need to mention it to the Institute.

2. Send the following forms to the Institute complete in all respects.

-- Form 103
-- Form 102
-- Form 107 (Either franked or a separate deed of extension on a stamp paper of Rs. 100 or higher value.)

These forms are to be ensured to be correct for dates and period of articleship.

3. Also send the form 108 for completion of extented articleship.

4. As you are late in filing all these forms, you need to pay Late Fees to the Institute for each of the forms as applicable. Make a demand draft of the same late fees.

5. Write a letter for condonation of delay in submission of these forms.

After all these submissions, just keep on following-up with the Institute over the phone.
