Dear Sir/Madam,
I have completed CA Final and my articles get over on March 30th 2009 according to deed of articleship. but i have taken 312 days of leave for studies and for surgery which i underwent in 2006.My principal has signed exam forms stating my last date of articleship will be 30th march 2009.But now he wants me to extend articles for 2 more months as i have excess leave. I have already got a nice job to join in by April. i really dont want to extend my articles now. Please help as to what can i do...

as you are a old course CA final student
please know your normal leave allowed to a article student from CA institute through web site or telephone.
if the leave taken exceeds the leave allowed, you have to serve for the extra leave taken.
presently the leave allowed is 1/6 of the total period served but confirm that for you.
