Articleship termination

25 March 2013 Dear Experts,

Right now I'm doing my CA Final and have 5 months article ship pending.

Bcoz of my financial problems, I've decided to go to abroad for Job. So I've to terminate my articles and I've to leave.

Suppose if I terminate the articles and leave to abroad and again when I return to India and again continue my CA, whether I've to do for the balance articles period or for the full 3 years.

Please help me in this regard. Urgent.

25 March 2013 If you terminated now then institute will give you certificate of articleship training for the completion period i.e for 2 years 7 months completion certificate will give. After the re-registration to your articleship at your choice you have to register for balance period with the any member of ICAI based on the such above issued certificate. I.e balance of 5 months is sufficient and period of if any excess leaves by you during your articleship now.

But i think now you getting termination is big issue because of to get the termination first you have to send a request letter to ICAI with the reason of termination after getting permission from ICAI then you have to submit form 109 and after receipt of acceptance of form 109 by ICAI at any time you can re-register for your balance period of articleship. So doing anc completing all this process it may take one to two months time to get back the communication from ICAI. So almost your articleship will be over soon.
