ARTICLESHIP - TAX OR AUDIT??

16 April 2011 Sir,

I had few doubts regarding articleship. Is it better to join Tax or Audit dept? Which has more scope and opportunities and which has a lesser work-load??

Also could you brief me about the nature of work that is done in both these departments.

16 April 2011 Better opportunites would be to go for Tax.

Work pressure would be there in both audit as well as tax but tax the work pressure on comparative basis would be less.
