14 August 2023 Dear sir,
I want to ask about the limit of working hours and offs allowed to a ca article under new scheme for every firm.
There is a firm I joined who doesn't allow the national holidays and working for all 6 days having timings of 9 to 6.

Let me know about what happens under new scheme

21 January 2024 As per ICAI, an Article can take 1/6th of the period for which he/she has actually served (excluding leaves) which comes to 156 days leave during the three-year CA articleship period subject to a maximum leave of 180 days. The minimum working hours for an Article are fixed at 35 hours per week.
