03 December 2010 hi !!! i m vry much confused regarding ma articleship.can any1 tell me how is internal audit field to practice in articleship?.Is it better than stat audit?and plz tell me same for tax also?thanx in advance

03 December 2010 It all depends on u, what field u want or in what kinda audit u r interested... I've never done internal audit with, but still m satisfied., few consider it most important as it gives uppdation knowledge... While stataury audit has its own importance for gaining experience... And tax audit, branch audit, bank audit, etc r the part of articleship.., i mean, if u experience them, its well nd fine..., if u dont get them., then u r not losing a lot.. Yes, but if u get such audit works, its ofcoarse better as it enhances the knowledge regarding diversified audits... Few of my friends have done insurance audits as well, while i never heard of such.., but that does not mean i lost a lot or i've no knowledge regarding audit as a whole.... So, ask ur seniors around, ur relatives related to CA profession or ur teachers for better option....
