Sir/ madam
I've started my articleship on 16-2-2013 and to be completed on 15-2-2016
In the first year 1 took transfer and there was a gap of 14 days.
Then in the new year registration form I filled the articleship completion date as. 15-2-2016 as I was of the opinion that 14 days gap will be counted as leaves
Now when I filled the articleship completion form a put the same date I.e. 15-2-2016. And a letter from Icai has been received stating that
1) articleship completion date should be 29-2-2016
2) period served cannot be less then period required for
Now icai has asked for reply within 15 days from my principal
Please suggest me

What should I do

The period during which you were searching for CA firm to continue your Articleship training of 14days you were not undergoing any training. That shortage has to be now served by you.

So can my principal write an application to icai stating that because of some misunderstanding there was a shortage of 14 days and now if icai permits he can start his training again under me for the remaining period.??

Thanks for your reply sir and sorry for the repetitively queries
But today I called icai and they told that when it's written in the letter that your completion date should be 29-2-2016. Than you need to call icai just fill 108 again with correct details mentioning 29-2-2016. Date and send it to icai.
So can I simply write a condensation letter and along with a new. 108 form send it to icai.,??
