23 November 2015 Sir,

I'm registered as an articled clerk in Chennai. However, as I am hailing from Kerala, I selected an exam centre in Kerala for CA Final exams.

The first group exams got postponed in Kerala due to the Panchayat Elections. So the revised timetable in Kerala was in such a way that we had to write the second group exams first(9,12,14,16 of November) and then the First group exams (18,20,22,24 of November)

Now, the exam started only on 9th of November. My query is that will the period from 01-11-2015 to 9-11-2015 be treated as on-duty or leave ?

23 November 2015 as such all the days between exam days are counted as on-duty. But it would still be advisable that you check with your Principal for what he is going to do on this as a lot depends on his discretion..

23 November 2015 I'm sure that the period from 09-11-15 to 24-11-15 will be treated as on duty.

My specific query is about the period 01-11-15 to 08-11-15
