06 October 2014 Dear Experts,

I have cleared IPCC(both groups) in Nov. '12 attempt. (Results were declared on 05.02.13).
My due attempt for Final is in Nov '15.

I completed my graduation in Mar '14. I also wanted to appear for CS Executive in Dec '14. so for that, I registered for the same in Feb '14.
Now, I have came to know about the Form 112 regarding information about pursuing of any other course to ICAI. What should i do now?
Please any one advise me further what to do.

Also, My principal initially did not tell me about this form when I asked him for the CS examinations leave (which he was ready to give at that time). Now he won't be allowing me the leave just for the cause I didn't attend the office on a Sunday because of my CA Final Lectures at my classes.

Is the consent of Principal necessary for opting for any other course?
What if one wants to go for another course but his principal is not allowing him to do so? Isn't there any way out?

Please any one Help me out asap. I am in huge trouble.

06 October 2014 there is no huge trouble. submit form 112 to ICAI along with condonation application and fees stating the facts of your case. and relax

Thanks for your precious time.

But my Principal is not ready to give me leave after that incident. He's very serious about this concern. And by this, I think he won't give me the letter of condonation which is necessary to be sanctioned from principal along with the seal.

06 October 2014 given that you have already registered for CS, he is very much responsible for compliance with ICAI regulations. So signing condonation is very much his responsibility!

06 October 2014 Alright, I'll ask him now for the same. Just want to know further that whether he can refrain me from pursuing this course?

Does he have that power?
Although i won't be attending any classes for CS,only the thing I would be needing is leaves for study just before exams.

07 October 2014 I agree Ganesh...but it is also the duty of the principal to ensure compliance with ICAI regulations. His signature is not only a consent but also a verification.

now that means one can't go for the any course in his own liberty?
The Article has to ask for his principal's wish.
If someone wants to go for some another professional course, he can't go for it just because his principal doesn't allows him to do so. This is something not fair!!!

07 October 2014 The concerned thing here is the devotion of my time towards his assignments.
The only thing i am asking for is leaves just before the exams. Nothing else!

08 October 2014 WE HAVE TO ADHERE TO RULES FRAMED BY ICAI.those rules also framed by practicing chartered accountants.

So they might have want to be in safer side.if they give leave their works may get disturbed

Yes, with out boss approval cant do any additional course.

In my opinion i prefer and suggest to concentrate only on articleship during articleship period.there is alot to learn.
