There was a colleague in my office who had a shoulder fracture and she got transfer of articleship for the reason that she was unable to drive 8-9 kms daily, during the 2nd year. So, in each case, Institute looks at the severity of the situation and as long as the principal's NOC is attached, ICAI is less likely to refuse a transfer.
