01 August 2013 pls let me inform i have registered for articleship training from 1st aprail 2013 n have taken transfer to new principal on 23rd may 2013 the icai in re registration letter has written that i have taken excess leave of 5 days how is it possible to compute this excess leave as my articleship period will continue under new principal and excess leave according to regulation 59 will calculated when the period of articleship will get over

02 August 2013 Just check the form which y6ou have submitted from your ex-employer and find out the number of days working. If from the details given the excess leave is 5 days then it is there no one can change it. You should have seen the form before submitting the same to ICAI. Anyhow, once again you check the dates and find out on whose part the mistake was committed and if there is genuine mistake then write to the ICAI it can be corrected.
