17 June 2013 after submitting form 109 for transfer of articleship in 1st year,icai issues termination letter so is it necessary to wait till termination letter is issued or we can immediately join new firm as soon as form 109 is submitted?

17 June 2013 no need to wait for termination letter , you can join new firm.

17 June 2013 No need to wait till icai sends confirmation letter...it will take time..

As there is no restriction in 1st year of transfer icai will accepts always..

you can file 109 with in 30 days from transfer

after you can join in other firm and execute 103 and 102 and send 103 to icai with in 30 days from the date of joining..

you can also send 109,103 at a time also..
