i need to know on what basis we choose a firm for joining articleship?? does the size of the firm matter??

In my opinion, size of the firm doesn't matter.Only areas of exposure that matters you.

Yes, both size and reputation of the firm matters. If you get into one of the big 4 firms, then nuthing like it. If you dont, then choose a firm where you get the maximum exposure. You should be able to learn every kind of work.

I am agree withe view of Mr Amit and you should decide the Firm based on your own capabilities and reputation of the Firm. Big reputated Firms will definately help in your future career development and provide you required Branding to excel yourself.

01 August 2007 See If you are from CPT, Join in some middle-sized firms.

If you are from PEII, Go for Big4 or Other Top 10 firms like Grant Thronton(Walker & Chandiak), Sharp&Tannan, Brahmaiah & Co, Lodha &Co.

Main thing you have to tell - Where exactly you want to do articleship.
